CHAMOIS METROLOGY MOVES TO PURPOSE BUILT PREMISES.

With effect from the 14th of July 2008 Chamois Metrology has moved to a new purpose built facility in Southam, Warwickshire. The new laboratory is approximately 100 square metres and will enable us to operate with greater efficiency, further improving our service level and providing scope further developments.

CHAMOIS METROLOGY APPOINTED AS THE SERVICE & CALIBRATION CENTRE FOR AMETEK CALIBRATION INSTRUMENTS

A new strategic alliance has been formed between Chamois Metrology and Ametek Calibration Instruments. Chamois will now provide support, service and a calibration facility for Ametek's primary M & G pressure standards.

Totally committed to quality of service Chamois' engineers have undergone an extensive training programme at Ametek's Largo facility and are now fully qualified to support the M&G product range. Operating out of its Warwickshire facility Chamois will hold stock of service parts for the market leading floating ball type primary standards and the repair service will be underpinned by its highly regarded UKAS accredited laboratory.

Ian McPhie of Ametek Calibration Instruments commented "this new alliance will give our customers an excellent back up facility for both UKAS calibration and repair in the UK. We are extremely pleased to be working with Chamois who hold a fantastic reputation in their field for both customer support and their expertise which will now directly benefit our customers.

Chamois Metrology was formed in January 2005 by Neil Morgan following 20 years experience in technical and commercial management of B.C.S., N.A.M.A.S and UKAS calibration facilities. The laboratory has quickly established itself as a major provider of UKAS calibration services in the UK and prides itself on the highest level of customer service.
