Chamois Metrology, the instrumentation, measurement and calibration organisation, announce the appointment of Nathan Barker as a Director. Nathan started his career with Theta Systems and then SI Pressure Instruments, who were then acquired by GE Druck. Nathan has considerable experience in all types of pressure calibration, from gauges and instruments, through to primary and secondary standards.

Neil Morgan, MD of Chamois Metrology, commented 'I have personally known Nathan for over eight years and have watched him develop his technical and customer service skills. Nathan will be a considerable asset to the group, and his appointment is in accord with our planned growth.'

Chamois Metrology is a new UKAS pressure calibration laboratory: its owner, Neil Morgan is well known in his field and has 20 years in pressure calibration. Neil has held senior positions as Laboratory Manager at Theta Systems, SI Pressure Instruments and GE Druck. As you would expect, the new calibration lab has high quality equipment and low uncertainties, covering pressure ranges up to 25,000 psi (1724 bar). Absolute, gauge and differential pressure modes are supported. Neil Morgan is committed to customer service and offers guaranteed scheduled turn-round on equipment. Alternatively a full UKAS service is offered, carried out on the customers premises. Prices are very competitive.
